I went to the Elsie Gaches Village in Alabang, Muntinlupa City last Thursday on the 18th of October.
It was another very heart warming experience which I want to share with you guys. The village was donated by Elsie & Gaches who passed away many years ago but donated the land to the government on the condition that it be used for charity or social benefit. The place has a total of 8 cottages each with around 100-150 clients. The clients staying there suffer from illnesses such as epilepsy, autism, mental retardation, visual and hearing impairment.
I am blessed, We are blessed!
This grandma almost brought tears to my eyes,She couldnt really move very much. That is where she stays in that mobility chair. still she could smile and laugh. All she wanted was love and someone to talk to.
Two of My Friends Mik and Chi who brought Chummy Chum! The amazing Bear who brought smiles to innocent hearts. He brought also popcorn!
Spaghetti along with their plain white rice and sky flakes crackers! It had to be in stainless plates and cups as the patients may break or use it to hurt one another.
We just met, and after 2 minutes.. We were this close... How sweet. They're so happy!
Skyflakes, Lemonade, Popcorn and Spaghetti! They had their lunch already, so they would eat their spaghetti for supper!
Two more friends Jessie and Allan, so much love in the room from innocent people.
My grandpa turned 85 this year! To celebrate his birthday, we went to the Philippine School For The Deaf. To thank god for his long-life and good health, and countless blessings.. It was definitely a special day for him!
